Master Trainer 1

4-week (160 Unit Hours) course in all aspects of police K9 training. Four written examinations, field exercises with numerous canines. Extensive agitator training, in various stages of training, lecture material, and student teaching. Geared towards a multi-canine department.

Goals

To be able to handle the goal - oriented training of a police dog, the student learns all the building up training in the leadership step by step process.

This course was created to support the Department's needs for an "In-House" trainer. The handler will be taught to take a "green" dog and teach the dog how to become a determined detection dog. This course is a four week program and can be designed to meet each department's individual needs. Hans Schlegel's unique technique promises for a thorough and thrilling experience.
